I have wanted to blog for months. Every day I think about it but life, career and motherhood come first. I don’t consider this blog a hobby. I believe talking about my motherhood journey is just as critical as all my other ventures. However, as many of you know we can’t do it all at one time. Motherhood is crazy!

I pursued a long-term dream of mine by entering a doctoral program this past fall. I am loving learning and being a student, but that means other areas of my life have not received the attention I would like to provide it.

Amid starting the program, we were still in a pandemic and had to manage a remote job while juggling the schedules of my three children. I will say this, I could not have done all of this on my own. My husband and I have partnered to ensure our household is running as smoothly as possible. This is not an easy feat.

Our children come first. They are young (three under 13), which means they rely on us no matter how independent I try to make them. My kids don’t know how to use the stove yet, so I’m making dinner every night (almost).

So, I’m trying to be back. I’m posting today, not because I’m trying to ramp up my followers or make some major comeback. I’m posting today because I love this part of my journey and I want to share with you all how to show up, even if it isn’t as consistent as you would like. Showing up means that letting whatever is pulling at you to go silent. Listen to your inner self and follow your intuition; it will always lead you correctly.

Blogging in motherhood solidarity!
